Coupons Are Great! This morning I headed to Publix and purchased 21 items for $9.53

Here is the break down:
$7.98: Two AJC double newspapers
$1.50: Flatout Bread
$1.99: Tofuyan Bagles (my daughter’s favorite. I have to buy these even when they aren’t on sale.)
– $0.31: Whiskas cat treats ($1.00 each minus $0.50/1 doubled)
– $4.42: Beneful dog food ($2.90 each minus $2.oo PQ, minus $2 MQ)
$7.79: 10 Eggo Waffles with Rain Check (minus $0.75/2 coupon)
– $5.00/$40 Total Purchase Coupon

$9.53 Subtotal!!! That’s a savings of 87 percent. The dog food will be placed in a donation bin because our picky dog gets sick if we change his food. I was pretty happy that the newspapers themselves cost $7.98 and I walked out with 19 more items for $1.55 more!
Here is the link to the best of Publix this week. The Beneful and Whiskas links are both in that post.
