Father’s Day will be here soon. To help keep the King of the Grill a little less messy here is a super cute and fun Father’s Day Craft idea. We love felt crafts since it is a very frugal crafting medium to work with! Plus, if you make a mistake chances are very good that you will have enough extra felt to cut out a new piece.

Father’s Day Craft – Make a Personalized Father’s Day Apron
1. Decide on a theme for your apron~there are many funny and heartwarming ones that can fit the occasion. We decided “King of the Grill.” Fishing, cars, or computers would also be cute gift ideas, but might not fit in with an apron theme!
2. Cut out felt shapes (we did a grill, crown, and hamburger).
3. Hot glue the shapes on the apron.
4. Using the fabric paint, create your message. Be sure to put cardboard or a thick sheet of paper underneath the apron to avoid the paint leaking through.
This is a great craft for kids to make together or solo, with your help, or without (as the get older). It’s always so much fun seeing what kids think Dad likes.
