The class of 2014 will be donning their caps and gowns in a few short weeks. Whether you have a preschool, kindergarten, high school, or college graduate it is time to bust out the homemade graduation photo booth props and celebrate! I know you are thinking either “Photo booth props are a must! Sign me up” or “That has to be so much work. Why would I want to do that?” Well, the answer is simple. Photos are a great way to remember momentous events like graduation, weddings, birthdays, New Years, and more. With some homemade 2014 accessories you will always look back at this graduation with a smile.

I have completed one of the hardest parts of this project for you. Below you will find a printable to assist you in making your very own graduation photo booth props. All you will have to do is some cutting, tracing, and gluing.
Create Graduation Photo Booth Props
Print this 2014 Photo Booth Props Free Printable image (exactly as show above, just in PDF format). Trace those shapes onto a piece of cardboard (I pulled a cereal box out of the recycling) and cut them out. Use a paint brush to apply Modge Podge to the cardboard cutouts. Liberally apply glitter. Keep one piece of paper under the cardboard at all times so you can transfer the glitter back and forth. Allow to dry. You may need a second coat of glitter, which can be applied right over the first once it is dried. Glue the dowel to the back of the object using a hot glue gun.

To make your graduation celebration even more festive, make some glittered tins with the year. You can store snacks or the photo booth props in these tins (note: stick a chunk of Play-dough into the bottom of the tin if you plan on using it for the props).

So, what do you think? Is this a craft you will take on this year? Or will you pin it for the future?
