Although we have been working on quite a few giveaway posts lately we are still couponers at heart and while shopping. We may not talk about our coupon usage as much as we used to, but believe me, coupons are still a dominant presence at the grocery store!
My trip to Publix tonight rocked. I was sad that they were out of the Honest Aid organic drink pouches and I didn’t know how I would reach the $30 mark to use my $5/$30. Then I remembered…….I had four $4/1 Wholly Guacamole coupons with me. I never, ever expect overage at a store, but I always plan accordingly. Good thing! Below is the breakdown of my trip.
$7.98 (9.98 – 2.00) = 4 Barber Chicken (The Chicken Cordon Bleu is my 4-y-o’s absolute favorite chicken).
$1.50 (7.50 – 6.00) = 6 Fiber One Yogurts
-$4.04 (11.96 – 16.00) = 4 Wholly Guacamole
1.00 = Sunflower Seeds
– $5/30

Awesome trip! I am so excited to use my guac coupons!
Nice job Jen! That is a huge savings.
Marcela – the $5/$30 keeps showing up in my mailbox. It is specific to the store closest to me. A few of my friends who live near that store have also received them, but my friends closer to other Publix stores do not.
