Sometimes there are stores that you are meant to shop at. You know those stores…the ones filled with pretty things that call your name. One of the stores that I love shopping at is Hallmark. If you were able to send flowers to anyone on Mother’s Day who would you choose? I think my mother-in-law deserves a bouquet of flowers every month of the year. She is one of the sweetest people I know. My husband and I started dating as seniors in high school in 1998. That year my one-day-would-be mother-in-law made my prom dress. Several years later she made the veil for our wedding.
My mother-in-law is amazing for so many reasons. She was a stay at home mom while her three boys were growing up. She attended college and graduated after they were grown. I think there were a few years when we were in college at the same time. She also has a huge hand in raising my nephew who lives at her house.
Unfortunately Grandma lives in Oregon and we live in Georgia which means we do not get to see her enough. The girls adore their grandma and love receiving her care packages. My mother-in-law already has the #HallmarkLove (you should see her house at ANY holiday, but Christmas is the most memorable). My mother-in-law wasn’t home when her flowers arrived. She was hundreds of miles away helping her own mom whose husband had just passed away. I was super bummed that the timing of the flower delivery was such a mismatch. I thought for sure the flowers would be wilted and that it would be a “thought that counts” sort of gift. My MIL arrived home 4 to 5 days after her flowers were delivered and she was so excited about them. Below is the actual photo of the flowers the day she arrived home. The lilies had not bloomed yet! I am so impressed that these flowers last for so long. She was able to enjoy them for many days.

The quality of these flowers is amazing. Her text message said “They came about a week ago when I was in Long Beach. They are very pretty and are as fresh as if they were delivered yesterday! I didn’t know Hallmark was doing flowers!” The bouquet that I received made me smile every single day I looked at it. It was so pretty and so fresh. I would not hesitate to order flowers from Hallmark in the future. In fact, they will be the first place I shop!
