There is one common item that ties birthdays, anniversaries, thank you’s, babies, and weddings together….cards! Greeting cards are a perfect memento to show that you are thinking about a person’s big day. With Hallmark Value Cards in the Collections from Hallmark line, available at Walmart, you will be able to send someone a masterfully worded card with a graphic perfect for the occasion.

We always need birthday cards. It seems like there is a classroom birthday party at least two weekends per month. My girls love choosing cards to attach to their friend’s presents so we went to Walmart to stock up on cards for the spring. The 47¢ and 97¢ price is so easy on my “gifts” budget that stocking up on cards was easy! I was pleasantly surprised that the selection of Connections from Hallmark cards in the 47¢ and 97¢ price range were plentiful. Hallmark is a master of quality and despite the low prices on these cards there was no expense spared when making them.

We found value birthday cards for boys, girls, and non-gender that will work perfectly too! Some cards had rainbows with others had ice cream. Some had silly sayings while others were simple. Originally I told the girls they could each pick five cards. I gave in to Big Sister when she said she had seven total and just couldn’t decide which two needed to be put back. I looked through her stack and there weren’t two obvious choices to put back since they were all so adorable!

In the end we picked a large selection of cards that will get us through many birthdays…and Valentine’s Day too!

I am very impressed that there are brightly colored envelopes in just about every color of the rainbow to accompany these cards!

Little Sister turns 6-years-old tomorrow and I couldn’t help but leave her card out of the envelope when I set her presents out. I just love that the Hallmark value card is like a sign announcing her big day!

When you purchase Hallmark cards be sure you earn rewards for them with the Hallmark Cards Reward Program. For every 5 cards you buy, you will earn a reward. Not only are you buying great cards that are easy on your wallet, but you are earning rewards at the same time. Isn’t that awesome? I think so!
How many times per year do YOU buy cards? Do you stock up once or buy per occasion?
