There is a fun new product on the market. Cold Stone Creamery, the ice cream people, now have a yummy new line of hot cocoa. Hot cocoa, hot chocolate, potAto, potAHto? I used the terms interchangeably with my daughters and one of them actually said to me “Mommy, you’re driving me nuts. Which one is it?”
We love working on crafts at our house. With winter weather here I thought we could try hot cocoa while working on some Christmas presents. We tried last year and neither girl liked it. I know, how is that even possible? But hot cocoa is a winter essential and it was time to try again. The Cold Stone Creamery Smooth Cravings 70 calorie packs were a HUGE hit! I had smiles from BOTH girls. My four-year-old said “This is the most scrumdidleeumcious hot cocoa EVER!” I am not going to argue with her either. It really was delish! With all the toppings we added, the 70 calorie option was the best for us. I am still super impressed that there is just reduced sugar and no artificial sweeteners in it. We mixed ours with water and the chocolately goodness was just that…..chocolately goodness. I almost think the drink itself could have been our craft that afternoon, but we did get some felt snowmen completed. This craft was supposed to be the Crafty Tuesday post for this week, but will be highlighted on December 7th since my sore throat sent me to bed incredibly early on Tuesday.
