Family is Great: Through May 6th

Spending time with family is great.  This week was fairly low key, which was nice!

Big Sister asked for Greek Yogurt with honey.  This is my favorite snack….and I was excited that she asked for something so healthy for her snack.  Woohoo!

Little Sister serenaded us with her keyboard and microphone.  Yes, she sang and played at the same time.  I have video, but it is too big to post.  Maybe one of these days I will find a good way to post it to share!

The girls had their last soccer game.  Shameless mommy brag: Their team scored 6 goals all season.  (I know, I know).  Our girls scored FOUR of those SIX goals!  Seriously!  Big sister scored 3 (1 in the game on Saturday in addition to the 2 in her previous game) and Little Sister scored a goal last weekend.  Those are some pretty good stats that we contributed to the team.

The girls went outside in their pajamas and picked strawberries from our garden.  Look at those strawberries!  They didn’t mind that they were still white.  They tasted perfect to the girls.  We got a whole bunch more too.  I will post a picture of our strawberry plants next week.

Little Sister watered the tomato plants with her squirt gun.  Pumping it is a little tough for her.  This is the best year of tomato plants that we have ever had.  Knowing us, they will soon die.

While we were outside Little Sister found a snail shell.  It is in her dead collection right next to the ladybug.  I really don’t know what to say about that….so I won’t even try!
