We have a big collection of Junie B Jones books purchased from either our monthly library book sale or Goodwill (poppin’ tags!). While Junie B. Jones isn’t my absolute favorite my girls both really like these books. I figure the books are mimic the school setting (kids do say the word stupid) and I can’t shelter them from everything. You can’t go wrong getting this book for free – especially when it is priced at $4.99 on Amazon!

The grammar drives me crazy too! You should check out The Never Girls when your daughter is older. It’s about fairies and Never Land. We are getting the second book in the mail today. My girls are hooked!
A friend mentioned her 5 year old enjoyed Junie B and I bought 20 used books on ebay. We’re not huge fans. When we read to our daughter we have to correct the grammar and omit the “stupid” and “dumb” references. I wished I’d tried one book before committing to 20!
