Girl Scout cookie time is fun and a little bit crazy. As a leader of a Girl Scout Junior troop of 15 girls and a co-leader of a Girl Scout Brownie troop of 7 girls it seems like I am always thinking about Girl Scouts. That paired with the fact that I have a very hard time keeping things simple means there are constantly ideas swirling in my brain. It’s more of a curse than anything. This year I saw shirts on clearance at JoAnns and I *knew* I would be able to turn them in to something awesome with my Silhouette Cameo.
I have sung high praises of my Silhouette Cameo when I made Girl Scout Ornaments, which everyone loved. If you are crafty, then you should consider a Silhouette or a Cricuit die cut machine. The possibilities of things you can create with them is basically endless. It was so easy to make these shirts.
Girl Scout Cookie Shirts
Keep Calm I Have Girl Scout Cookies – is a phrase that my troop loves. When we made signs for our cookie booth several girls used these words.
The I {Mustache} You To Buy Cookies shirt was inspired by my older daughter who is obsessed with mustaches. That was the theme of her 9th birthday party. So a cookie shirt with a mustache was a must.
“Eat More Chickin” is a phrase many kids like to say after singing the “Happy Birthday Song.” It may be because we live in Atlanta, the home of Chic-Fil-A that this is even a thing, but I am not sure. So “Eat More Cookies” was a very fitting design to make as well!
To make these I used shirts that were on clearance for $1.97, Heat Transfer Vinyl, and my Gecko heat press. A heat press is definitely not a requirement since an iron can be used instead. I have loved every minute using my heat press…I have to admit. To make these designs, I used my Silhouette software, typed in the words, found the logo I wanted to use, and sent everything to the machine to be cut. Then I heat pressed everything onto a t-shirt.
If you are a Girl Scout cookie mom we would love to see pictures of your booth or outfits for cookie season!

I would love to buy these for the girls in my troop – do you plan to sell?? I am not crafty and could not possibly make them.
Hi,
How did you actually create the logos like the “keep calm I have Girl Scout cookies?”
