Ahh, the beauty of being able to schedule posts for a time after you write them is wonderful. I am in sinus surgery right now (10:00 on Friday)….or should be in surgery. I think the only thing that will put a stop to this operation is if I accidentally fail the pregnancy test at the doctor’s office. Did you know that they give all women of child bearing age a pregnancy test before an operation? The only exception is women who have undergone a hysterectomy. It makes total sense! The chances of me failing a pregnancy test are microscopic (but as a parent I have learned to never guarantee anything with complete certainty. Anything can happen).
My surgery will last 1.5 to 2 hours and the list of all that he is doing in there is long. I am not a person who rushes into surgery without a lot of thought. The quality of my life has been impacted by my sinuses and I get more miserable every year. The doctor is going to straighten my deviated septum, reduce the size of my nasal turbinates, and create an opening so that my nose works properly (basically). He is also going to suck up some junk that is in my sinus and scrape off some bone spurs. I know, you are so jealous right now!
So you may notice a lack of new posts over the next 48 hours (or some recycled content) OR some posts that are a little wacky with run on sentences and incoherent thoughts. If the latter occurs please just know that I will start functioning like normal again once I am completely done with the lingering effects of anesthesia, pain medication, and pain!

Guess you are close to coming out of surgery by now….or maybe even out of the anesthesia. Life will be so much better in a few weeks!
