Save 50 Percent or More on Christmas Classics DVD Collections

December 10, 2013 by Leandrea Voskanian

Christmas Classics are a great part of December.  There is nothing better than snuggling with your favorite people and some hot chocolate while watching some great Christmas DVD’s.  If you like to save money on your DVD purchases you can buy collections of prepackaged movies.  Below are several Christmas Classics DVD sets that are great to have on hand!Santa's Magical Stories

Santa’s Magical Stories (Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas / The Year Without a Santa Claus / Jack Frost) – $8.96 (normally $29.98) for a 3 Disc Collection.  Just typing this makes me realize I need to watch The Year Without a Santa Claus.  I cannot remember what that movie is about!

christmas classic boxed set home alone

Christmas Classics Box Set (Miracle on 34th Street / Jingle All the Way / Home Alone / A Christmas Carol) – $13.99 (normally $29.98).  The movies are PERFECT for elementary aged kids.  Home Alone makes my girls laugh.  And how cute is the girl in Miracle on 34th Street?

TCM Greatest Classic Films Collection Holiday

TCM Greatest Classic Films Collection: Holiday (Christmas in Connecticut / A Christmas Carol 1938 / The Shop Around the Corner / It Happened on 5th Avenue)  – $12.99 (normally $27.92) for a 4 disc collection.  This is perfect for the person who loves the classics.  A Christmas Carol is such a great movie!

I just bought that first one (Santa’s Magical Stories). It’s got more features on it than it looks at first glance.

Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
    The Leprechauns’ Christmas Gold
    Pinocchio’s Christmas
The Year Without a Santa Claus
    Rudolph’s Shiny New Year
    Nestor the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey
    Jack Frost (1976)
    A Miser Brothers Christmas
Rudolph and Frosty’s Christmas in July

That set plus this one give me all my favorite Rankin Bass specials (except the Easter Bunny)

Original Christmas Classics http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0057FGCJQ/ref=ox_ya_os_product?tag=couparegrea-20 (Kroger had this for $15 with a peelie for three free boxes of candy last week)
