It’s always fun to dream about things that would make our lives easier, things that we want, things that would work great in our house. My wish list spans a wide range. Honestly most of the items on my wishlist are high ticket items. I feel like I could ask for and receive just one for my Birthmas present (yes, birthmas. My birthday is 15 days before Christmas so combing a birthday and Christmas present yields a birthmas present. This occasionally works in my favor when I want something that is expensive). Or I could save my monthly allowance and put it towards a big ticket item. The problem is, I just don’t know which one of these items I want the most!
Silhouette – A personal crafting machine……oh….how I long for you! The things I could make with vinyl. And paper. And fabric. I have a very old Sizzix machine that works great, but it is such old technology. Stepping up to the year 2014 would be fantastic. Thinking about all the crafts I could make with a Silhouette makes me think about how I am allocating my allowance money!
Cricut Electronic Cutting Machine – Oh, how I would LOVE to cut pretty things out with a Cricut too!
Roomba – A Roomba makes cleaning so easy. Roombas have a timer and they take care of the vacuuming and sweeping for you. It’s almost a mini-maid. And who doesn’t want that?
Vitamix – Those Costco demonstrations over the years have worked. I want to make soup for dinner in the vitamix and then turn around and make Tinker Bell ice cream for dessert immediately after rinsing out the pitcher. It just seems so healthy and so easy and I imagine that I would love having a Vitamix on my counter.
Rearview camera – My van was purchased in 2006 and was paid off early. We haven’t had a car payment in years (hmm, three or four). My van has about 75,000 miles on it and is in good condition. We don’t need a new van, we don’t have enough money saved for a new van since we want to pay cash and avoid a car payment, and there is nothing wrong with my old van. The one thing that I do want in my van is a Backup Camera. I sit in new cars and feel pangs of jealousy that my car doesn’t have this incredibly cool feature.
Blue tooth for the car….or a mixed tape. So, not a mixed tape, but I love that Avenue Q reference (<— probably not kid friendly). Seriously though, there are times when the overplayed songs on the radio make turn the stereo off. Silence is good, but I would love to listen to some of my favorite songs in my playlist (some from the 1990’s, more from the 2000’s) instead of silence. We have a third party blue tooth device in my husband’s car….and one is on my wish list.
Great sports bra – I have mentioned before that I am on the search for a great sports bra. I think the perfect sports bra will *always* be on my wish list (because I have a hard time believing that one exists – someone prove me wrong, please).

Sweaty Band – the most reasonably priced item on my wish list is a Sweaty Band. I don’t think I would wear it for running though. I want one so I can look cutesy sporty in my workout clothes that I wear for comfort.
