Everyone’s very favorite groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, saw his shadow this morning. Historic odds heavily favor a forecast for winter to last deep into March. Since the Groundhog’s first prediction in 1887, Phil has seen his shadow 99 times and failed to spot it just 16 times. So, the odds were definitely in favor of him saying we would have more winter. But on this particular day in Atlanta the weather will reach 68 degrees today and I couldn’t argue when the girls didn’t want to wear leggings or tights under their skirt and dress.
