The Scholastic Mini Missions program is rewarding us with two FREE Scholastic books each month for completing mini missions. Their motto is “Make Every Day a Big Day when you and your family take on a series of missions with Mini™ to grow, learn and give back to others in the process!” Scholastic will send two different books for the completion of each Mini™ Mission for the 6-11 age group. Books will be different each month. You will receive your books in 4-6 weeks after completing the mission. This promotion runs through December 2013. We have completed our Mini Missions for 3 months in a row and received one set of books. Big Sister was soooo excited. They were books we did not already have that were perfect for her reading level. Plus they were books we may not have picked up ourselves and it was good to try something new.
The missions are easy to complete. The month of October was about being creative. My entries included making paper ghosts and pumpkins, decorating outside for Halloween (see the Pumpkin front door), and making bat bento lunches.
