My Kroger Shopping Trip Using Coupons, Rebates, and More

It’s been a long time since I have posted my grocery shopping trips.  Our eating habits have changed in the past year.  We tend to buy a lot more produce at Aldi and Spouts.  Produce is a product category which has fewer coupons.  We are buying much less processed foods overall.  As a couponer it has been a challenge spending a little bit more money on healthier products and we have had to adjust our budget accordingly.

Today I had a great shopping trip.  The cashier said “Wait, you only have to pay $13 for all this?”  When the additional $2.75 in catalinas finished printing you could tell she was really shocked.  If I had told her I was getting a rebate on the eggs I think that would have been too much for her to handle.  😉

Subtotal: $12.34, received $2 catalina from the Speed Stick (making it free) to use on my next transaction,  75¢ catalina for purchasing 4 Dole products, 25¢ Ibotta rebate.  It’s like I paid $9.34 for my purchase!

I am not a big fan of funky math….but it is nice to see what my bottom line was!
