They will deliver care packages to our troops through a $250,000 donation to the USO2GO program. In its second year, the program will support USO Operation Celebration; a program that brings food, decorations and games to USO locations around the world so that our nation’s military community can celebrate special occasions no matter where they are serving.
Through the end of January, Marie Callender’s will donate $.50 to USO Operation Celebration for each code entered from specially marked frozen meals and desserts. A real-time tracker displays how close we are to the goal of 600,000 codes entered.
Patriotic crafts are fun to do every day of the year. One of my favorites is the eagle hand print craft. I saved the ones we made several years ago. It is always fun to pull those out and compare hand sizes over the year.
