As a parent to two little girls, there is *always something* that needs to be done. The list at our house never ends, and I am sure that is the case at your house too! Whether it is finding tennis shoes, buying water shoes, taxiing to karate, renewing library books, or cleaning the bathroom there is always something on my never ending list. Having Fun Taking Care of Your Family
- Make a favorite…or new….recipe. Patriotic Fruit Pizza is a HUGE hit at our house. Three ingredient peanut butter cookies (which are gluten free) are also a huge hit that you can turn into ice cream sandwiches.
- Multitask by taking the dog for a walk…..and turning it into a family jog
- Have a picnic at a local park or state park.
- Have a backyard campfire…or just use the grill! Roast hot dogs on sticks, pop popcorn and finish off with s’mores.
- Have a water balloon fight!
- Plant a garden.
- Make a necklace. Use your junk mail to create unique beads.
While making memories with your family is fun, we can’t forget to take care of ourselves at the same time.
