Did you know that an obsession with I Spy can be full blown at the age of four? It’s true, and my four-year-old is all over I Spy products. She reads at least one I Spy book per day. My husband recently found I Spy on the HBO line up and our daughter we overjoyed. When I found out that I Spy is available for both the Wii and the Nintendo DS I was hesitant to tell her since I knew she would think about I Spy literally all day. Her dreams are probably filled with it as well.

Through the creaking gate, you’d best beware. A Spooky Mansion waits…Enter if you dare!  Filled with mysteries, surprises, hidden object adventures, and mini-games in every riddle this Wii game is fun for the entire family.  We started playing this game with me or my husband holding the wii-mote.  The girls would run to the television when they spied an object.  I take that back, they would run to the television laughing and giggling the entire way.  Then we found out that our four-year-old understood exactly how to use the controller.  The game is (a lot) slower with her in charge, but it is much more fun seeing it through her eyes.  Without fail, the girls can always find objects before both my husband and myself.  It truly is amazing when your children are smarter than you.  There is also a multi-player option, but we have not tried that.

If you have an I Spy lover who has a Nintendo DS then you are in luck!  I Spy Universe is the newest I Spy release for the DS.  While I enjoy the family aspect of the Wii version the DS version is also awesome.  It contains I Spy Riddles and I Spy Games including Picture Perfect, Pattern Quest, Space Sliders, Marble Mazes, Cosmic Pathways, and Shadow Explorer.  The Riddles are fun.  With the buttons you are able to toggle between the text and full screen view of the picture.  Hints are provided……….which is a marvelous, much needed feature.

I am so very excited that one lucky Coupons Are Great winner will receive I Spy: Spooky Mansion.  This game has brought hours of fun to our house and will continue to bring even more since we are not even close to finishing the game.  With the cold winter months upon us this is a perfect way to increase family time.

    Lately, I’ve really enjoyed going for walks as a family instead of taking the car. I love the time it gives us to be outside and talk. Even though we live in a small city, I’m surprised that things aren’t as far away as I thought and we can walk instead of drive.

    My favorite family activity is actually playing I Spy! My sister and I have enjoyed it for many years in so many different forms. We used to play it just by ourselves, using rooms in our house as I Spy settings. We also played with the books and the computer games and recently we got Ultimate I Spy for the Wii and are really thrilled with it. I Spy Spooky Mansion looks absolutely amazing, definitely something we would have tons of fun with!
