Mystery Shopping: Customer Service Experts

July 30, 2010 by Leandrea Voskanian

Each week we spotlight one mystery shopping company that we have worked with.   Mystery shopping is not a scam and we tell you about our experiences with certain companies.  We are definitely not paid for these posts.

This week we are highlighting Customer Service Experts.  I have completed two shops with Customer Service Experts and both were conducted via the telephone!  Mind you, telephone shops are not notorious for being high paying jobs, but I can do them during the girls’ rest time so I consider it a plus in the end.  I received payment for both jobs very quickly.  I was paid for the second job in nine days which is incredibly fast.  I consider myself someone who follows directions well, but both my reports had errors noted by the editor.  Hey, we can’t be perfect all the time, right?  Now I know that I need to be in tip top form when working with Customer Service Experts.  In the future I will definitely save my work and review it a few hours later to make sure everything is perfect before I press “submit.”

Customer Service Experts has jobs across the United States.  Some job are perfect for badged airport personnel while others are great for families or dads who like their Sunday sport.  While looking at the job board I smiled at some of the jobs in Oregon.  Even teeny little towns there (like where I went to college) have mystery shopper jobs.  The reviews I read on Volition were very positive of Customer Service Experts, which coincides with my experience.

Hi! Thanks for spotlighting this opportunity for making money. I work for a company that uses a very small amount of mystery shoppers and we get so many calls as to whether this is a “for real” opportunity or a scam. I have gone to the Mystery Shopping Providers Association online to look for opportunities/companies to sign up for and ended up working for Janzen. They are a little slow to pay (30 days, usually 3-4 wks)and only through paypal – but really nice to work for. Now if only they had more jobs available.

I was reading your post on Market Research and signed up for 2 of your companies:
Schlessinger Associates, 20/20 Research – maybe something will come of it.

My hours got cut this summer and I could really use a flexible, temporary type job like this.

    Thanks! Tina “The Book Lady”
