Tooth Fairy Traditions: Free Printable Tooth Fairy Letterhead for You to Use!

January 24, 2016 by Leandrea Voskanian

One fun tradition at our house is the Tooth Fairy.  When one of the girls loses a tooth it is such a fun night…and it ends with a note from the Tooth Fairy using printable Tooth Fairy Letterhead.  We finally have this tooth fairy paper to share with you!

Our Tooth Fairy Traditions include making a sign that says they lost their tooth.  Sometimes the girls add the date when they write the sign, while other times the date is saved onto the data from the photo.  We snap a few toothless pictures with the homemade sign.  I love that the sign captures handwriting…which is also a bit of personality.

At night the tooth is put into the homemade Tooth Fairy Pillow. This pillow is really special because the girls were able to pick out their own fabric and ribbon which gives them a huge stake in ownership.  At bed time the lost tooth is placed under a pillow or in the tooth pillow (it really depends on which girl it is and what kind of mood happens to strike that exact moment).

The Tooth Fairy leaves behind a glittery dollar and a Tooth Fairy Note. A glittery dollar can be made using hair spray or glue and glitter.  I am not even making it up when I say that glitter dollars from the Tooth Fairy are the most coveted prize in our house.  Those dollars will probably never be spent while there are still baby teeth falling out of mouths.  Really, if you have not put glitter on a dollar for your child, it’s a must!

Each time there is a Tooth Fairy note the girls are so excited to read what it says in the morning.  Often the note is tied with a piece of floss.  It’s a cute little touch!  The Tooth Fairy always remembers to tell the girls to brush twice a day and to floss.

Get this Tooth Fairy Letterhead  in pdf form by {clicking here}.  The pdf has both the blue and the pink versions of this letterhead.  You can fill this in yourself using a pen or you can use an online photo editing tool (like PicMonkey, which is free) to add a font overlay on the top.  It’s easier than you would think!

Do you have a Tooth Fairy Tradition in your house that you love?  We would love to read all about it.
