St. Patrick’s Day crafts are fun to make. Rainbows never go out of style. And who can say no to glitter?
It is easy to make rainbows using construction paper, cotton balls, glue, and glitter. I used my Creating Memories circle cutters (similar to this) and cut out red, orange, yellow, green, and blue circles. I then used my paper cutter to cut those in half to create perfect semi-circles. We glued them together, which was a challenge for my daughter since the circles were a little too small. Then we cut a semicircle out from the middle, glued them on black paper. The addition of some cotton ball clouds and glitter made this craft perfect.
Using the scraps from our rainbow craft the girls and I made paper hats. I cut out a green hat, a black strip, and a yellow buckle. We hung strips of paper from the bottom of the hat in a rainbow pattern.
The finished St. Patrick’s Day craft is definitely cute!
