Are you ready for one of the cutest, most practical crafts ever? Ohmygosh. LEGO earrings (specifically Lego stud earrings) are about the most adorable thing ever. I am not even kidding when I say this craft is e-a-s-y! If you have ever used a bottle of glue in your life then you can make this. Honest!
Materials Required to Make LEGO Earrings
- LEGO Studs
- Post Earrings with backs (available at the craft store or at Amazon. I bought mine at Michaels and use a Craft Store Coupon to save 40%)
- Adhesive – E6000 (This is about $2.97 at Walmart) you may want to wear a mask when using it. It is stinky)
How to Make LEGO Earrings
1. Dab the earring post into the E600. I put a glob of the E600 on a piece of scrap paper and dabbed the earring onto that so I wasn’t dealing with an oozy goozy container. But whatever works for you will be fine!
2. Adhere the Lego to the earring back. Easy, right?
3. Allow to dry.
That’s it!!! Now you know what to do with some of those annoying little pieces that really didn’t have a good purpose before. We have so many of these studs that it borders on ridiculous. With LEGO earrings my girls are going to be able to accessorize their outfits with earrings to match. This has to be one of their favorite mommy crafts ever!
To put the cost into perspective – you will pay about the same price for the earring posts and E600 as you would for only a few pairs of earrings at Claires (my girls LOVE that store, but I don’t love the prices). You will have a craft you can feel proud of as well!
