Vidalia Onions Giveaway

June 3, 2013 by Leandrea Voskanian

Grab a tissue…this post is about onions.  If you are anything like me then the thought of onions make a tiny tear form in the corner of your eye.  Living in Georgia I see Vidalia onions at the local grocery stores and I am taken back to my high school days when I worked at Papa Murphy’s and the manager in charge would always give me the task of cutting onions because he liked making me cry.  It took a few years, but I am happy to say I can now cut an onion without thinking about my high school torture.  There are a few recipes that I love to make that require onions….one of which is my mother-in-law’s Thanksgiving stuffing. It’s totally worth a few tears!

Shuman-produce-vidalia-onions

I am working with Shuman Produce to share information about Vidalia onions using the information and products they provided me. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.

Publix shoppers get ready for a treat.  Throughout the month of June Shuman Produce (one of the largest growers and shippers of Vidalia onions) has partnered with Publix to give away $100 Publix gift cards in an online sweepstakes.  <– Click that link for more information and to enter daily.  Weekly winners will be selected starting May 17 through July 5, 2013.
