While researching Free & Fun Family Weekend Activities I stumbled upon an incredibly cheap activity for kids in lieu of a typical summer camp. Michaels has their Passport to Imagination Event and you will pay $2 for your child to attend for 2 hours. Isn’t that a crazy good deal?
Passport to Imagination
The 2 hour crafting adventure sessions will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday from 10am until 12pm. The craft projects are different each day of the week. The price is just $2 per session for children ages 5 and up. Passport to Imagination start on June 17th and run through August 2nd, 2013. Check with your store to see if they are participating.
If you have been looking for a cheap summer camp for your kids THIS is it!!! I have been looking for a fun activity for the week of July 4th and Michaels Passport to Imagination is perfect. I am going to head to my store (or possibly just call) later today to find out some more details. I don’t want to be trapped inside Michaels for 2 hours and am thinking/hoping parents can leave the location since the age limit is basically rising kindergarten.
